Transcity Group – Branding Case Study

Transcity Group had a number of sub-brands such as Tektronik that were recognised in the market place and had a loyal customer base, but there was a lack of awareness among customers about the role of each of these companies and their relationship to their parent company ( Transcity Group).

Through a consultative process with Transcity Group stakeholders Lightworks Creative developed a strategy for the re-branding of Transcity Group. The strategy involved; assessing whether to continue with all sub-brands, or whether to stand down brands that had little leverage within the market place, using a consistent colour scheme and style across all media channels such as the website and where possible carrying similar elements such as colour and layout across from the parent brand to the sub-brands to help strengthen the relationship between sub-brands and the parent brand.

With the rebranding process complete Transcity Group now have a dynamic and cohesive visual identity that conveys the nature of their business and brings together all aspects of the business.
